What_to_look_for_laptop or tablet_computer?

What do you look for in a laptop or tablet computer ☺ I asked this question to some of my colleagues and the replies was interesting. So I decided to sum it all up and write about it. I think the real question is what do you use your computer devices for? If you are a word processing individual, who does a lot of typing; then you would require a full keyboard user interface. If you are show and tell, the tablet would serve you well. ✌

Laptops and tablet provides great usability, they perform almost similar. They perform basically the same task. But the major differences between these two devices are the touch key user interface (key-board), storage capacity, and processor speed. I would say “if you can afford it, why not get both”. They both serve there own purpose, this can bring more flexibility to your life.

If your a writer, author or anyone who types on an electronic device all day. A laptop would be the choice for you. This device get its speed and reliability from the help of Intel’s I series processors. Laptops are capable of carrying storage up to 500Gigs or more. These offer laptop users the storage and the speed to complete task with ease.

Tablet users enjoy light weight devices, but they can’t perform as well as a laptop. Many tablet owners find them selves doing more preview of completed work rather than doing the work on their device. Watching a movie, catching up on your favorite television series or doing a presentation is the tablet strength. Because of there weight and size, users tend to chose tablet over a laptop for multimedia purpose.

Price difference can also play a part in decision making between a laptop and tablet. A high end laptop can cost up to $3000, compare to a $600 price tag on that high end tablet. If you are low on funds rewarding. But would you sacrifice speed and reliability to save your self something you might end up spending on accessories to perform specific task. Sometimes I wonder if saving on electronic devices is really worth it.
