Years ago professors would add students to their page, but they didn’t like the weekend party post of students. Being drunk and passing out next to kegs so they decided it wasn’t a good idea. Result; suspended use of media on colleges and university facilities.

Back then professors disapproved of their behaviour, but now only to realize that using social media properly is more rewarding. By using the proper services and settings they was able to establish more control of their social media networks. Now professors and students are on the same page.

Blogging is now the new journal. Everyone shares topics and discussions over the internet. The whole world is at our door step, just waiting for us to make the right connection. This is what social media offers us today and professors are now reaping the benefits. Social media is the way to go.
